I still don't get why COL fans want Patrick or any of those forwards. Draft Liljegren or Makar don't be stupid! Lol. You guys have a top-6 already set! You have zero defense. Draft a future #1....

Because Duchene is toast. Just waiting to see which quality, young defenseman is coming back, and which team's fans will be irate they traded him away.

Because Patrick is the best player in the draft! It's not rocket science

If Patrick proves to be better than Duchene and we draft Liljegren instead that will be a big mistake. Plus most have Liljegren outside the top 4 so that might not even be a number one

How they draft will depend on where they select and if duchene is traded. If they land in the top 3 it's Patrick, hischier and vilardi. Outside that they might take a shot at Lilijgren. If Dutch is traded and we get the defense back plus a 1st, we use the second 1st on defense.

Take the Best Player Avaiable...and Liljegren isnt the best player available, he has been getting roasted lately, falling fast from a Top 3 pick to maybe just a Top 10 pick, hes having a very lack lustre year overseas. Liljegren is not projected to be a Number 1 D, I have read some scouting reports that are saying hes falling like kylington the year before based on how discouraging of a season he is having, some are saying its risky to take him too early
