Ben Bishop will not be signed by Philadelphia this offseason! This trade makes zero sense from the Montreal standpoint, practically insuring that they will immediately hang up once Hextall mentions these players in the same breath as the word "trade".

Could you elaborate a bit on Couturier and what his value might be? I already had a team posted to try and figure out if he is worth acquiring to play 2C in Montreal, and what it would take.
This offer actually looks more reasonable (no 1st rounder and no Juulsen).

Couturier's value is high because of his defensive ability, however it might not be higher than the inflated value of Bradyn Schenn. My thesis is, that there are three types of value of a player.

1.) Inflated Value or Face Value - this is the value that you perceive the player to be. his actual value may or may not be different based on the market value.
2.) Market Value - this is the value that the market selects for the player. For example, if the best defenseman available as an UFA this year is Shayne Gostisbere. His actual value is probably around 3.25mil-4mil AAV, but because he is the best defenseman available, his "Market Value" might be 4.25mil-5mil AAV.
3.) Actual Value - this is the value that is a combination of the inflated value and the market value.

I would say that Couturier's actual value is around what you got for him, however, his inflated or face value is lower than his actual value, meaning this trade is too high for Montreal.
