Wild have no need for Boeser. Our wings are already deep and dangerous, but our 2C is Ryan Hartman. We'd want to trade for Miller or Horvat instead.

If the Canucks trade Boeser they will not be adding a high pick along with him

Yeah, Boeser can stand alone for that return

So Miller, woo, and second for Fiala and Greenway?

Take out Jett Woo and you have a decent deal

Have you been watching Hartman this year? He's not bad... Not a "fantastic" top-6 C but not the worst either. That said, I agree with you. The Wild need Miller more than Boeser. Except I don't think you're getting the pick and the prospect. Maybe Fiala and Greenway for Miller + (pick OR prospect) but even that seems like a bit of a stretch. I actually think Fiala + Greenway for Miller straight up is more likely.

The Wild would be bringing in a point-per-game C with 2 years left on his deal at under 6M AAV. The Canucks are aware of Minny's cap situation and they know how much Miller would help bridge the gap between "right now" and "Rossi". The Wild are handcuffed financially so if they want to better their team via trade, opposing GMs are going to charge a premium for it.
