Just for fun. Most unlikely but I tried to within the ballpark.

I’m not a fan of this year’s Defence core. The chemistry hasn’t looked right at any point this season.

I know grzelcyk is hometown kid but I think he would benefit from a change. Chychrun hasn’t had the best season either and could benefit from being on a more competitive team. Probably wishful thinking here but he would look good in black and yellow.

Haula hasn’t fit either. I would look at potential trades and maybe give his role to Studnicka. Unless they could acquire someone else like McCann.

Truthfully I have missed Lauzon and would love to see him back. I think he was a good fit with McAvoy last year. Probably have to add another asset going to Seattle for those two.

Chiasson/ Lazar is a fourth line swap. Bring a change to both teams.

I think LA could use a bit more size on the backend and they have quite a few young forwards that could benefit from an open roster spot. Lemieux would also add a bit more bite to Bostons bottom six.

I want Rask to comeback and believe he’ll be signed. I think Swayman has been rushed a bit and Boston should take a step back with him. Look how they handled Rask. I think a bit more time in the ahl would help. He can be recalled anytime. Wish we could move Ullmark but I think that’s unlikely.

If Staal wants another shot, I’d give it to him.

I don’t think this would “fix” all the holes in the roster but I’d feel a lot better with this team.
