Wouldn't have to be the Rangers. It was trading Demko in the 2020 off season for a 1st and using that pick to draft Schneider or another RHD.

Toffoli is currently at 4.25M why would it cost the Canucks more than that to resign him? I think the Canucks could have resigned Markstrom long term at 5M if they had been proactive and not waited until after the playoffs.
