If they would not trade Carlo for Landeskog a few years ago…they are not moving him period.

u do realize that it wasnt a 1 for 1 swap for carlo and landeskog right, if it was sweeney is stupid for rejecting, there were other pieces that boston wouldnt give up carlo is good but he isnt untouchable good

You could make an argument for Carlo being untouchable, it really depends how the Bruins season goes, and who knows if Brandon Carlo would even be okay with playing in Canada

Yes, but he was the deal-breaker. Avs insisted on Carlo and Bruins refused. It had nothing to do with the other pieces. That was then.

Now. It’s actually even worse when you factor in Bruins RHD depth chart behind him. Clifton, Lyle, Lewington, Berglund, Langenbrunner, Mast. See a problem? Hamonic is of zero interest, and a wing solves no problems for Boston while trading Carlo creates a huge one.

Nucks fans repeatedly say only way Boston gets Miller or Horvat is if Carlo or Lysell are involved. Well….only way that happens is if Elias is coming to Boston. Because a top 6 C under 25 is the only way trading Carlo makes any sense. 🤷🏻‍♂️
