Most teams are hungry, maybe not starving for seven capable NHL Dmen. But the right handiness is really overblown. 2/3rds players shoot left. Surely there are capable left hand shooting Dmen that can play the right side. If you could get Bear for that price, might very well be worth it.

no sense on adding bad contracts on top of bad contracts. habs are drowning in overpaid players.
