Description

Somehow Stevie convinces Lindholm and Copp that Det is the place to be.
Brad Lambert falls in draft and becomes the 4th consecutive steal for Det.

Detroit’s pipeline after this draft should be stacked at every position, adding lindholm and Copp won’t turn them into a NJ or VAN. They won’t be peaking to early and living in mediocrity, there are players at each position that should push for top 6 rolls in the coming years.

I think the 4th (checking) line is going to be Smith - Rasmussen - Erne. They started part way into last season grooming Rasmussen to be a shutdown center. So bringing in another center Suter or Veleno would probably have to be traded or switched to wing.
