Description

If Kane buys in it's a 1 year deal that could show off his skill and commitment to the game for one last big contract. Bringing Holtby in gives us some goaltending depth for the playoffs. Moving out Zucker just makes sense from a cap point of view as well as a fit perspective and allows flexibility (~3.7million) to find a potential depth defenseman.

Completely different context. The Pens were going for it, Vancouver isn't. Also, JR may have soured on Zucker given his performance
