Not bad value for Tatar but as a Flyers fan I think I'd pass since it appears from all likelihood Morin is going to be up next year, and we desperately need defensemen more than Tatar. If we are talking a younger winger then you have a deal. Someone like Svechnikov, Mantha, or Athanasiou. We could even send another youong winger like Laughton back to you with Morin.

Thinking if that's the counter offer Detroit probably takes business elsewhere. Don't know much about Laughton though.

I fully expect if healthy Ericsson will be on the roster next season but at least you chose to burying his contract in GR instead of buying him out (which is an awful idea). Keep in mind with season long LTIR the team has to go over the cap to replace the player in order to get cap relief from their hit. So if, in your scenario, the Wings are already apx $6M below the cap ceiling they will not get the cap relief from putting Franzen and Kronwall on LTIR.
