Robertson+1st for Severson isn't a terrible offer if we were shopping him around. But we are not. So leafs would have to add a significant piece to convince them otherwise. Holl, Ritchie, etc would not be that significant piece. Niemela, Amirov, Knies probably would be.

Keep em then. He's not worth more. The Devil's are not realistically that close to contending. So getting more good young pieces is wise but if you want an insane price for a 2nd pair defenceman, then you'll not get anything.

I think I have been very reasonable, despite all the name-calling and insults.

Nylander would be the ask according to you. That is not remotely reasonable.

That’s more than what the Kings got for Muzzin, also a first is the asset that you could turn into a top-4 or top-6 guy

At the time of the Muzzin deal, Durzi and Grundstrom were both top-5 prospects in Leafs pipeline, which was ranked higher then that it is now. Durzi was talked about as the smaller, puck-moving RHD, similar to Niemela today. Grundstrom was the physical, two-way winger much like Knies today.

I have been 100% consistent in that it would take two good prospects and a pick. Little bit more with retention and/or cap dump.

So your list that included Nylander was just for ****s and giggles?

I made a long list of possible returns and wanted to include at least one one-for-one. If you did not like one of them, pick one of the others.

Kerfoot 1 for 1 makes more sense. Nylander is worth a #1 or #2 defenceman. Not a 2nd pair guy. Come on. This is what I am talking about.

Kerfoot. Ha. Ok. Surprised you didn't say Holl 1-for-1 or Ritchie 1-for-1.

I'm not being unreasonable here. I also am not going to combat unreasonable with ridiculous pendulum swings the other way. I am trying to have a reasonable conversation

Over and over, you keep bringing up one of probably 100 combinations of players I have suggested.

Be reasonable then and post an ACGM with what you think is a fair deal.

    Until then, adios

I have said time and time again, Robertson, a 1st and a guy like Krall. If you guys don't want to retain, I'd get a 3rd party involved to do so. But I wouldn't offer more. It's a great deal for Jersey that gets than a highly touted young guy and more draft capital. Take it or leave it, but if you want Nylander or something insane like Knies, Niemela, a first plus you are just gonzo.
