Why are you giving up assets for Dreidger and why are you expecting him to be the starter?

was more thinking a 3 goalie rotation, one of skinner francouz or driedger will likely claim the starter role

I just can’t get on board with moving Barrie guys like him are really tough to come by just because bouch is good offensively doesn’t mean much it’s great to have options when injuries happen. Toughen up the left side instead.

I think that they will need to trade barrie if they want a second pairing LD that isn't Broberg.

None of them are proven starters, they have a combined 103 games of NHL experience. Do you really think this is a good idea?? Besides, Francouz will be 32 this summer and Dreidger 28, it's highly unrealistic to expect one of them to "emerge as a starter" next year.

Agreed. at 6 games played he is the best backup in the NHL.

I would rather go after someone like Husso if we are stuck with 3 goalies.

Well I wouldn’t completely just forget about klef he could still return it’s not like he’s missing all this time due to set backs it was known from day one he would miss the entire season. I do think Holland brought Keith in for one year and didn’t get any retention on the trade because of the recapture penalty/bonus that is to come afterwards. Just did that to buy time to see how klef heals up. Healthy klef instantly solves our blueline he’s very reliable in his own zone and would make a solid pairing with Barrie.

Sadly i don't think there is a healthy Klef in our future. I believe the surgery he had fixed the pain but if he were to play again he could damage it and then there is nothing else they can do.

Until retirement is announced wouldn’t rule it out.

Maybe but I’m still holding out hope. Think with being away for this long people forget how good he really is.
