That wouldn’t even get you in the door for a serious conversation. If Barrie goes somewhere it would be to a contender, so that leaves Lavoie and a first. Considering Arizona wants an Eichel like package, Arizona easily would pass on this.

I don’t think that is as bad of an offer as many will roast it for.
Barrie gets treated like garbage on this site but in reality puck moving right handed d are always held with massive premium. He has a much more impressive productive career than will ever get credit for. People complain about his contract but it’s just as good value wise considering the production he has proven capable of. He makes less but can produce more.
Before hate on that take keep in mind everyone on here thought risto was nothing more than a cap dump ended up landing a first. Barrie is cheaper with term and more productive. I don’t think this makes much sense for Arizona and can get a more fitting return but strictly value wise do think it’s reasonable offer.

Not ones that are undersized and have serious defensive questions. Ristolainen returned a lot not because he's a puck mover, but because he's 6'4, 220 pounds and can play the body (with a reputation of being a puck mover).
