It isn't that bad. Believe it or not the easiest part of of building a real contender is getting the high end talent and the hardest is finding the right pieces to compliment the high end. This is too much turn over. You are moving out 10 and bringing in 5 it makes it hard to pinpoint what or where the real problem is.

Need was available on waivers last season for free, why Edmonton didn't put in a claim is beyond me. Carolina had just claimed Edmonton's 3rd goalie and they had a known injury to their starter... it was a huge miss and was called out as such at the time.

right. people give Dubas a lot of **** for the big guys contracts but he's been able to find some really good middle six value pieces in FA to make up for it. This top 9 is insane regardless, and you only needed one trade to make it happen
