How I want the lines

Description
I saw this article on how to get Kappy and Erod going and this was one of the ideas the article stated.

Put Kappy and Erod on the same line but move Carter to the wing on Malkin's line. When the Kappy, Crosby, Erod line was put together out of desperation and they played really well. So I thought putting Zucker in that spot so maybe it would get him going as well. We just really need that depth scoring Erod had at the beginning of the year. So maybe this will get him going, Thoughts?

Here is a thought.
ERod really isn't that good.
Instead of nothing but acgm on here full of bad ideas of paying him 3.5 million with term, he should walk at the end of the year.
He's 28 on a 1 mil 1 year deal for a reason. Just because he has gotten lucky doesn't mean he's more than the 12th forward on this team Even the entire 4th line has a more well defined role.
So I'm not sure why the whole lineup has to be rearranged to accommodate him. I think they are better off leaving Geno's line alone.....considering it's producing.
He's got 12 points in 11 games. That's the guy that you want going. Not ERod.

Yeah but, we haven't been scoring as much and we need that good depth scoring that we had at the beginning of the year and Erod was a big part of that. But yeah, I don't know if he will come back next year, but we have him, might as well use him.

That third line was the one the Penguins leaned on heavily to start the season. I think that would be a really good move to reunite it. Flip Heinen and Carter for a more natural right left set up.

Yeah, I noticed that I had Carter and Heinen on the wrong side after I published it and was too lazy to fix it.

did you ever think that his production was never sustainable? He's 28 he's never had production at that pace. Why assume it would just continue?
Much like McCann's production was never sustainable. He'd be one fire and then nothing for 40 games. But people swore by him in on these boards. But what was really happening on the ice did not match their views.
The biggest problem this team has right now is that they lost blueger. They don't have their 4th line to switch momentum because they lost a really good bottom 6 center who's really good at flipping the ice and generating something out of it. This is why the bottom 6 looks out of whack right now. They don't have a line out there for 15+ a night tilting the ice in the right direction right now. So of course the secondary scoring isn't going to be there.
That has been a huge problem. Boyle isn't the guy to fix that. There is a reason that line gets so much ice time.

Yeah I can agree with you on this, Teddy being out hasn't helped either, that like with ZAR, Teddy and McGinn was probably one of our better lines in my opinion. But I just want Erod to get going again, I enjoyed watching him play the way he was and I want to see him do good but like you said, his production isn't that sustainable. He was only really scoring because he was playing Top 6 minutes all in that frame, playing with Crosby and hell even playing as the 1st line center. But I do have to agree with you on this one.
