I am sure that would be the counter from ARI. I'd be curious on the market for nyquist. I put him around a second or third round pick. He is steadily getting better as the season goes and he get back in the groove after the season off. So three firsts, a second and a third is about the best i'd want to offer for a rebuilding team. Maybe if the first is top 10 protected this year we give you next years, then i agree to it.

Edmonton isn't going to send out a 2nd just to downgrade their goaltending, even if Korpisalo is cheaper. They need BETTER goaltending, not cheaper, worse goaltending. shakes head

Thanks for the thorough answer, good explanation! I agree with your standpoint as it makes sense for you right now. I'd pull the trigger on the trade if the lower of the 1sts is top 10 protected as well, as I still except one of them to be around 11-15. If you're okay with that I agree as well.
