Didn't they just Re-sign Greenway?

Yes, but I still think there is a chance he could be traded if they want to keep Dumba. I think trading Greenway over Dumba would be a better option for the locker room sakes, but I can also see them going away with dumba if they wanna give more room for cap space.

I think if Fiala wants believes in this team and what they can do, a 6.5x3 would be fair. Yes he isn't breaking the bank, but having a Boldy and a Rossi on your line might make him consider signing a little bit lower for now. In 3 years if the line / team is not working, he can move on and still make some bank.

Yeah, I noticed he had no trade protection in his contracted - as a Buffalo fan I'd offer a 2022 3rd and 2023 2nd for Greenway with no 5th coming back

Not Coming after you, but things like this doesn't happen. Russo made it clear. Guerin made it clear he has no plan to break up Joel Eriksson Ek, foligno and greenway line. Also, teams don't sign players to extension to trade them before they even play 1 game

Jack Campbell was signed by the Kings to an extension on September 7th, 2019 that started July 1st, 2020 and traded to the Leafs on February 2nd, 2020. It happens.

Also this site is a F A N T A S Y site where people play make believe. Relax, take a break from making new accounts, and step outside.

I understand that Guerin has stated that he doesn't want to break that line up. Realistically I can make another team just like this, but without Dumba. However, if we want to keep Fiala, which I think is better than keeping Dumba. Guerin is going to have to get rid of someone. Dumba or Greenway are going to have to go. I think Dumba is gonna be the one that goes because it will relieve more cap, Addison can replace him, not in a locker room way, but in an offensive d-man way. Another question is who will take Dumba and what would we get back in return. I don't know what we could get for him, but just because a player is signed an extension, doesn't always mean he is safe from a trade, especially when the Wild are this tight on cap.

When players don't even start a contract it does. GM's don't operate like this. It's truly a fantasy because no gm is signing a player just to trade him, never mind the relationship damage with other players and agents
