They don't really need to rebuild though. They've had 2 of their most game impacting players miss a majority of the season. Retool sure but not a rebuild.

However acquiring 1 year of Dumba is not the answer

Minnesota isn't trading dumba during the season. Guerin loves dumba, and didn't name him alternate captain to trade him. Also wild aren't trading player's off their roster. Also you are overvaluing a 30+ years old rental value

Guerin isn't moving Dumba midseason, he's not gonna mess with the locker room Dumbs is a vital aspect to the chemistry in that room. Maybe an offseason situation.
