My thought was husso is stays. Lyon will not replicate the season he had, and will likely want money. Gus is younger with term and a good contract.

After Guerin
Guerin isn't going anywhere until a year or 2 after the buyouts are over with. It was his idea to do that and the only reason he got the job, cause he had enough balls to do it. He's done a tremendous job some how keeping the wild competitive during this while hiring a scouting staff who is loading up a prospect pool to set us up very good in the future. So he will be able to see his plan out thru the end then if it fails after then he could be gone.

I think greener carries more value with his contract and he does have good ability. Maybe the wild throw-in a pick too?

See this is the feedback I appreciate! I've just seen rumors about the health concerns with Letang and poetry that it could be a possibility. I know that there is sometimes very little truth to rumors but just bouncing ideas.

Yeah I've heard that. Evason loves him and he is a good role player, but don't think he can continue to contribute offense by himself. Boldy needs someone more offensively advanced to help him reach his whole potential. Hopefully Rossi can get there next year so Gaudreau doesn't need to carry such a load.

Pens wild trade rumors
Also haven't heard or seen these reports, but my guess would be Gaudreau. Fleury, as much as he may want to go back to PIT, PIT's goalies are set in my opinion and the wild wouldn't have another goalie that is ready for the NHL. Dumba maybe, but he has been rumored to be connected to VAN and OTT. Dewar, I don't think is going to go anywhere, too good of a 4th line/PK guy.

Deadline
Flyers decline easily. They'll want a top offensive prospect in return IMO plus picks depending on cap retention. Dewar is a solid bottom 6 Fwd in the NHL but not for Giroux and then also adding braun makes this not really close.
However, I do want the Wild to pursue Giroux. He would be sick in between Fiala and Boldy

Actually like this a lot. It's always hard to trade some prospects that you look forward to seeing in the future but to get a return like this I think it's very necessary.

I would trade him just so Sturm can be re-signed.</div></div>
Apparently an awesome teammate and a pros pro. Hardworker does a lot of little things right. To me he just doesn't fit in between Fiala and Boldy at all. Bottom 6 is another story. Hrad to use the term Bottom 6 or top 6 on the wild because there isn't really a definitive 2nd and 3rd line imo

Dont think itll happen but Moving DumbaTalbot to keep Fiala
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jnowariak</b></div><div>I get why you moved Dumba, but I actually think he’s more important than Fiala. Fiala is a dynamite offensive talent and I’d keep him in almost any other circumstance. But you can find 80% of his impact for half the price pretty easily. Moving Dumba replaces a top pair caliber RHD with an aging vet and a 22 yo that has yet to show he’s ready for full time top 4 duties. Couple that with Kahk having such a small sample size and I don’t think you really gain much, but rather open the door to a much lower floor.</div></div>
Addison I believe is ready. He's barely really gotten a chance to play and Dumba can be very very suspect back there. Makes some definite bonehead decisions. But also can be very effective don't get me wrong. The one chip he for sure has over Addison is the leadership and locker room chemistry. He is the energizer of the team and keeps it light and fun.

Also sturm is about as good a 3/4C in the league and will demand between 1.5-2 mil imo. Maybe they won't bring him back, who knows
His gf is from MN and I know he stays with her family so I know he is very comfortable in MN

He's cheap. Edmonton is where G go to have their career end. Apparently they never fire their G coach</div></div>
Talbot is our starter right now obviously, but with the way Kaapo has shown he can play, I could see the Wild looking to move Talbots contract, while cheap it is a place they could move cap. Talbot has already been in EDM before. Finding a FA backup to Kaapo for cheap I don't think will be too difficult, especially if it's only for a year to get to Wallstedt the following year.

D corp is basically the same core as it is this year besides Dumba. Kaapo has been plenty solid with them so. Jones isn't who id necessarily want, just meant a veteran goalie in general.
