These all favor the Wild far too heavily.

Dumba doesn't command that value, Greenway doesn't even come close to getting Holtz, and Schenn goes for more than a 4th.

I dont think the value is necessarily bad, but pens still cant afford this. Also not sure Dumba is the best fit. We already have Letang, Petry, and Rutta on the right side and Pettersson, Dumoulin, POJ on the left. Where did you here these rumors?

See this is the feedback I appreciate! I've just seen rumors about the health concerns with Letang and poetry that it could be a possibility. I know that there is sometimes very little truth to rumors but just bouncing ideas.

Never hurts to throw out ideas. I do that all the time, however the pens and wild were never talking a trade. Those rumors came out as false. As for the trade the pens are still taking back 1 mil which unfortunately we cant afford.

My counter would be

Kapanen, different prospect because we like Plante, and a 3rd for Dumba (50% retained).

Pens would probably be more interested in Greenway than Dumba. I would be willing to do Kappy and a mid round pick for Greenway
