While I think namestnikov can get a reasonably good pick (possibly even a second with retention, but likely a third), I don't hate this: A backup goaltender for Ned next year and a decent LHD to shield our big LHD pipeline for the next 2 years.

Detroit could retain half on Greiss for an extra cap buffer if you send a late pick back as well, that’d be a good outcome for both sides
