Description

Letang out till the beginning of next season with the team announcing he has a herniated disc in his neck. They waited thinking it could heal on its own but after about a week of no more progress they decided surgery was needed. With the team knowing the severity of this injury and that he could and prob would be out for the season it is puzzling to me why they did not place him in LTIR before the trade deadline and then sign a big name dman like SHATTENKIRK, What are your thoughts???
also these below are my projected lines once the guys who should be back in a week or two are healthy for the playoffs.

I dont think there going far with out him but its the Penguins so never know

agreed, I feel for Letang. Hoping Washington does what they normally do in the playoffs and that is not show up. I will say tho as big of a rivalry it is. If the penguins do get eliminated I would not mind seeing Ovi hoist the cup, you have to respect him.

Feel bad for the Pens with Letang out, The poor guy can't catch a break and i guess Fowler is done as well for the Ducks with a knee injury.
