Here's a reminder that Patrick Marleau only got a 3rd round conditional pick when he was traded to the Pittsburgh by San Jose and the next season he's back with San Jose. He was a rental, same with Giroux. Giroux will easily return to Philadelphia next season.

You can find anyone of those kinds of trades. I can find the Dominic Moore for a #1 trade too. What was that NSH-WSH trade a few years back Filip Forsberg for who???? IF GIROUX is traded he will get a #1 & top prospect. Its more like DUTCHIES said.
PS if he's only a rental and per COL FANS and not that great why is there so much interest in acquiring him ???? HUM.

No way. Giroux is worth a 1st and twice the player Marleau is.
