Vegas Keeps its core together and lose very little
*third seems reasonable in Kesler deal would probably settle with a 2nd but 3rd seems best for all teams as Kesler isn't likely to play again in the NHL*

Nobody is giving a 2nd+ for Carrier and Janmark while Vegas is in Dutch. Hell, they likely would not even if they weren't.

Fair enough with the Florida trade. I was using it more as an offload trade for any contender getting a good deal (Fix the 2nd to a 3rd), not the main point of the roster restructuring just a deal to get rid of two players

Welcome to CapFriendly! Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

I suspect that you have a misconception about how the LTIR list works with respect to the cap. That Kesler move doesn't give Las Vegas any additional cap space or benefit. And the Golden Knights wouldn't be trying to solve their cap problems by trading two of their lowest-hit players.
