Massive overpayment for jakob Chychrun, And Giroux is 34 years old giving him a 8 year deal makes zero sense as he's going to drastically decline here shortly.

That’s ok. The cap will hit $100 mill by the time it’s over. It will be worth it.

And overpaying just means it’s workable. Better to overpay in a trade proposal here than underpay.

It’s like I said to the other guy - overpaying in these proposals just proves that the move is realistic and not a fantasy.

Why would we sign Giroux for 8 years? He's not going to be a player worth that much in 4 years let alone 8. That is also a big overpayment for Chychrun
