Move out what 15ish million dollars without taking back a cent. I get don’t want to debate on return but should factor in on some money coming back.

You are right, I should remove Letang signing and I doubt Subban cost 4M
I should keep space for the Hoffman and Petry trade, money will come back. I believe Drouin can be move for a pick without salary retention

Ya I’d remove letang at this stage in his career seems doubtful he would leave the only team he’s played for to join a Canadian club that to put it as nicely as possible coming off a struggling season. Subban may return I can buy into that and he might even be able to help on pp.

Yes. Those Hab players aren't worth their cap...so in any trade the Habs are just taking back similar cap.
