Jets are very High on Armia and they could need that 2,5M extra cap space maybe for Copp... and leaves a open spot for Heinola to get in... and you replace Schmidt by resigning Beaulieu or hire Kulak type of depth D

No, the Jets aren't very high on Armia. When he was with the Jets he produced okay for his contract. Now he doesn't produce at all and has an awful contract. Getting stuck with Armia's full cap hit for the duration of his contract would be disastrous.

Armia is a cap dump, it will cost Montreal to unload him. They won't be getting a player that is far better than Armia in return.

That why I unload you from Schmidt @ 6M/y for another 3... saving = 2,5M/season

But Schmidt is a good player and Armia isn't. If the Jets have to, they can just move Schmidt for a pick instead of taking back a terrible contract.

that's your opinion... I look many Jets game as I am a Dubois fan... and Schmidt didn't impress me at all!
