Sprong won't be ready. He'll need a year of AHL to get ready for NHL workload. Rare guys go from juniors straight to NHL time.

Maybe not at the beginning of the season but I imagine he will be in NHL by next year's playoffs. Considering the rate Pittsburgh gets injured every year and the fact that he already has some NHL experience, I bet he'll be pretty high up on the call up list.
