Love those combos.
Sid and the Kids is non-disputably at that point, even though I was a sceptic and wanted Horny back. Hags-Malkin-Horny is not and ideal line, but they worked pretty well together and the skillsets compliment each other well, they should get a lot of chances - question is if Hags and Horny find their scoring touches and start burying all the golden chanses Geno creates. Wilson worked really well with Bonino and Kessel this year, and he has lots of skill relative to his scorecard, he gotta start getting points at some point. And then Kuhnhackl-Cullen-Rust line was really impressive last year, and they gotta be even better this year, as they gained more experience and Rust obviously has become more of a "skilled" player.
The D pairings obviously take a huge hit with Letang out, but thats a pretty solid defense too. Cole-Schultz is an obvious choice, then you should avoid Maatta-Daley pairing at all costs. Maybe try Dumo-Maatta together as a shutdown pairing? They meshed really well in their limited time, and then Hainsey can bail Daley out. But that's debatable, I don't have a good answer here.
Overall I really like this lineup. Letang would have been huuuuge bonus, but we're really good nevertheless. Let's Go Pens!
