not the worst idea in the world if we can't find a way to dump him outright but preference would be to gaining the cap space to acquire a 2nd pair RD

Maybe Ritchie for Hamonic with a mid late round pick headed to Van?

I had a thought about this kind of trade with Pearson, I think your idea is equally sensical
