I like Garland's game thus far in VAN but not that much and not for taking Schenn too...

Bad-4-Both!
VAN - CG's barely been w/ them long enough to have a cup of coffee (CG is young to fit w/ the VAN re-build, drives play, good term & money).
BOS - Schenn is not needed (it's a you keep him they don't want him guy) and Garland is not what they need either (BOS need = top-flight LD or #2C for playoff push).

Thus the guts of the trade is CG for "2 x 1sts" (he's good but not THAT good)...

Schenn will get you a 7th...or 6th if lucky.
The other Schenn will get more!

BOS will likely be #7/8 in the East playoff race & on tonight's current points pct% ranking they would fork over Lysell & pick #21 to VAN...

I think it’s more like 3 months ago at this point. Othman is looking legit. They just gotta do the right thing and let him develop longer. His contract has an elc slide again next year, might be worth it to let him percolate in the chl one more year and just straight up dominate.
