I honestly don’t know. I remember that in the 90’s the nordics traded lindros and received like 15mil $ (among other thing) but idk if you can still do that in a trade today. At least I havent heard of a trade like that happen

Well, habs need him to be their defensively responsible center, he's on a great contract for 3 and a half years of 1.7 million, and if Lehkonen would be worth 1st + 3rd, Evans who's better fetches 1st + 2nd. If no team wants to give the value of 1st + 2nd for Evans (and I wouldn't doubt them if they didn't Give it), habs would gladly keep him.

Yeah he has great potential. I wouldn't fault a team for paying that price, but I wouldn't fault the habs if they keep him of no one pays that.
