Dallas commits to a retool and gets a ton of futures without giving up anyone signed beyond this year.

The leafs have recently expressed interest in Klingberg and with Muzzin going on ltir it could work. I think a 1st and 2nd is about his value to GMs right now even if I wouldn't pay that and with Dermot going back thats about the value they receive.

Washington gets Holtby to reunite the old core and hopefully fix goaltending issues. With the cap dump coming back they have to overpay slightly for him, I see his value as a 2nd and a late 3rd.

The big trade! NYR know this is there year and the Stars capitalize on their needs. With Giroux going to Colorado (likely), Pavelski is the best solution to their need for a 2C. They also look to add some depth scoring with a regressing Radulov. They pay a high price for these adds, a first rounder, Kravstov whose value I see as a bit below a first with him requesting a trade. And then a 2nd, which makes up the difference on kravstov and pays for radulov. Stars throw a 4th in to make it work and I think the value is pretty close.

Stars gain an asset for a solid depth price having a decent year in raffle, while Edmonton attempts to address their lack for depth.

I think I might have been a bit generous to the Stars here, I dont know if Kilngberg or Pavelskis value to nhl GMs is that high, but with the type of bewildering trades we see every year I can hope!

Not the biggest Kilingberg fan but that's definitely a price the leafs would pay, would a Holtby for Mrazek + picks/prospects be of interest to you guys ?
