sure, i get why people like wilson, but he's not near as rare as people like to pretend. Also the impacts of what make him rare and valuable dont really translate to wins in the same way as other parts of the game. They are sprinkles on the cake that makes a good player. People love sprinkles, they are pretty, i get it, but a player who produces more is always more valuable.

I just think that maybe the missing ingredient to the leafs is some sprinkles we’ve got all the other ingredients now we just need that final touch. We usually do well against other fast skilled teams and tend to struggle against the bigger tougher ones like Calgary and Boston he’ll even Montreal Anderson always seems to kill us I’d really like a guy that can give us some pushback

but they never struggled against those teams because they lacked tom wilson. in fact Nylander has been one of the better players on the team vs those teams. He was the leafs best player against montreal and he always lights it up vs the flames. Adding Wilson would be nice, but not at the cost of Nylander. if anything the Leafs need to supplement their roster with those guys, not replace them.

yah, hopefully he can get some reps in. they have a pretty compacted schedule coming up and some energetic bodies will help
