Nylander brings NOWHERE CLOSE to the physicality.
Wilson is also 1.8 cheaper that's an empty netter from the paint

Hell, since 2017 Wilson has one season where he had more points (13 more in 9 more games after nylander had missed the 1/3rd of the season). So tell me again how Wilson puts up similar ppg?

Pretty much this. Wilson is still better but it’s close and there’s no need to be rude about it.

Nylander: Games 170 Points 146 Goals 67 = 0.86 GPG 0.39
So again, not close or similar. Also fun to add that Wilson is deeper into his prime years and should have been scoring at his peak the entire time while Nylander basically hit that this season

It’s easy. Nylander is a dime a dozen type player. Example Bunting (to a slightly lesser degree ) lol. Wilson adds exactly what the Leafs need I. Toughness. Very few players can do what Wilson does… not rocket science but people struggle to see whats obvious 🤷🏻‍♂️

I wouldn’t be opposed to a Nylander deal centred around Wilson if it were possible but all things considered Nylander is probably the better all around player.

Other than him being a dirty POS, I do think wilson is quite a good hockey player. He's just not as good as Nylander. There isnt any shame in that but it really sets off caps fans
