Description
Just tried to determine value for Habs players based on what the new Management seems to go for. I would be surprised if they'd sell lower than this, but I would be even more surprised if they got more in return!
Injuries will keep Allen, Edmunson and Savard in MTL.
Of course, PRICE, GALLAGHER and DROUIN are almost untradable. I can maybe see something done at the draft, with significant retention/cap dumps...

These are actually fairly reasonable? I'd kinda like to see this flushed out more just to see what a civilized Montreal AGM looks like.

I'd recommend you spare us the Price trade though depending on the cap dump returning to Montreal.

Very, very honest (and accurate, in my opinion) evaluation of the players on the block. Also glad to see that you want to retain Lehkonen.

I wish all Montreal ACGM constructions were this reasonable.

I'm sorry, what do you mean by « flushed out »? Actual trades being proposed? I'm a French guy, so I'm a bit lost with that expression... Also, Thanks for the constructive feedback. Let's just say I'm old enough and know my hockey enough to understand what's going on. Also, MTL fans are not dumb per say; they're just really really really passionate about their team! Hence the over valueing of our assets! wink

    Thanks for the feedback!

In any rebuild, you need to keep vets around. Lehky, Wideman, Anderson, Savard, Edmunsson and Allen are the ones I'm keeping. They all have 2 things in common, from what I can see/guess: they outperform their contracts and they seem to enjoy their time here.

I know the jury is still out on Savard, but he doen't hurt the team and... you guessed it, he's French! So yep, I'm keeping him...

One of the reasons why you may be confused by the phrase "flushed out" is that the actual idiomatic expression (which is probably the only one in any translation software) is "fleshed out."

It means "more fully developed" or "with additional details."

I'm not using a translation software, but I had just never heard of it before. Thanks!

It comes from the idea of "putting more flesh on the bones."
