So Dallas gives up on reaching the playoffs and sends you two first-class free agents, including their leading scorer, plus a solid depth defenseman who's signed for two more years very cheaply, and in return you're gonna send them an offensive defenseman whom you really don't want, two B prospects whose maximum NHL experience is one game in December between the two of them, a future second and an even more future fourth?
