So what do you think is a realistic offer for miller? Instead of listing the untouchables, how about you propose something?

this guy is too busy being a ratfink to make a reasonable trade

I was really excited for Lafreniere when he was drafted. Watched most games, put him on my fantasy team even. Well now I don't watch the games anymore and I dropped him from my fantasy roster. Do you know why? Cause he produces at the same rate as Juho Lammiko.

Then don't watch Ranger games, what can I tell you? Plus the goal is to WIN hockey games, not get individual stats. And last I checked, the Rangers are WINNING hockey games.

There's a high chance one of Lafreniere or Kaako get traded

How much you want to bet?

Sure. 3, 1st round pieces not including the players I mentioned. 2022 1st round pick, 2023 1st round pick and Nils Lundqvist. OR, 2022 1st round pick, Nils and Kravstov. If you don't like Kravstov, then take Chytil. If neither of them float your boat, take the 2 years of 1st round picks and Lundqvist. OR, if you like Zac Jones, take him, Nils and 1st round pick.

If none of that is enough for 1.5 years of JT Miller, then so be it. Keep him.

You're living in fantasy land if you don't think at LEAST 1 of them is included in a Miller trade

If you say so. Lets see what happens and talk again after the TDL. Lets see what team they are all on.

So, because Rangers are winning (mostly because of Shesterkin) that means Lafreniere is playing well? Not sure that’s how it works.

Alright, we’ll keep him then. Top 10 in the league in scoring, plays centre and wing, PK, for 2 late firsts and a prospect? No deal, so be it.

I watch every Ranger game, do you? Until recently he has been playing on the 3rd line getting 13 mins a game because he is stuck behind Panarin and Kreider at LW. Last few games he has been bumped up to Mika's line on RW because Kakko is hurt and he is playing fine. Goal and an assist last night in the Cap game. He plays physical, battles along the boards and plays solid D. I see him play and I'm sure you read comments about him on forums like this, so there is that. And if he is such a bust, WHY DO YOU WANT HIM? Why do people keep adding him trades? Because they are so dumb they don't see the irony in it. Its laughable.

I think he has potential, but my point is, I think having him in the ‘non starter’ category is a bit extreme, given his play so far. There’s a distinction there. Nothing ironic about it.

He is 20. Lets revisit the discussion when he is 23.

If there was a re-draft of 2020, laf would go 3rd round max. canucks only want him as part of the trade to make him rutherford's personal water boy in the box

If Lafreniere plays well, he won't be able to resign with the Rangers unless he takes a massive deal. And if he doesn't play well, you're going to be trading him for scraps. So trade him now while you can get value out of it. Miller at 2.7 mill for two playoff runs is ridiculous value. It's basically like having Mika Zibanejad at 2.7 mill.

LOL. Yeah, no thanks. The cap issues will work themselves out.

Actually they will be worked out by Chris Drury who is currently ****ting himself knowing he can't resign all his players

And trading for Miller will somehow help that? Give up three young, cheap players on their ELC's for a RW they can't re-sign after his deal is up. If you're going to argue, at least make sense.

The ELCs only have value if the players actually on the team. Last I checked Kravtsov was in the KHL and Lundkvist in the AHL with no sign of them cracking the roster. Lundkvist will not be on the Rangers D until he's 27 unless Trouba or Fox get injured.

The only value Lundkvist provides to the Rangers is trade bait. Kravtsov maybe plays for the Rangers, but unlikely, so little value there. Lafreniere has value with his ELC, but its nothing compared to a top 10 scorer in the league at 2.6 mill.

And I'm fine with trading Kravstov and Lundqvist.....it is Laffy, Kakko and Schneider I was talking about and that's why those 3 are UNTOUCHABLE. You want Nils and Kravstov and a 1st round pick, then a deal is to be made, but if u want any of the other 3, there is no need to discuss because the answer is NO.
