Islanders would probably decline. No need for Abruzzese, their C position is locked up for the next 3/4 years and they have Aatu Raty who is also a C prospect. Holl is more expensive and provides nothing over Mayfield. And a draft pick 2 years from now doesn't move the needle much.

Abruzzese is a legit B+ prospect who could play real minutes as soon as next season. Additionally, Holl is better than Dermott, right handed, and the age gap really isn't that large. As a Leafs fan I would rather give you Dermott.
