Description

Stars feel like they can be competitive but realize that they have a scoring problem. They load up on veteran forwards to help them score enough to win most of these close games against elite teams.

I really don't think Dallas should be buying. They are out of a playoff spot and are significantly weaker than some of the other teams around them. They need to sell. They can't let guys like Klingberg and Pavelski walk for nothing.

Detroit 100% passes, Namestnikov is worth more then a 2022 6th round pick and a 2024 3rd round pick. The 3rd is still 3 drafts away and noway Yzerman accepts that. Yzerman basically wants a 2nd for Namestnikov @ $1,000,000 if he doesn't get it. He keeps him and resigns him simple as that.

Talvitie is actually a decent prospect

Maybe switch him with a depth Finnish guy that can help Dallas like Kuokkanen

Hinostroza 36 8 9 17 Project this to 51 games 11 goals, 13 assists 24 points very close to Namestnikov stats.
Vinnie is half the cap hit and actually had a better 2020-21 (26 gm, 4 g 8 ass 12 pts in half of the number of games) season than Namestnikov (53gm 8 g 9 ass 17 pts)
Buffalo would rather try to resign Vinnie instead of giving him up for merely a 6th.
