Philly declines. It's a late round1st, a bottom 6 forward, and an unproven as of yet prospect.

The price on a Giroux rental won't be any higher than that. I see that getting it done btwn TOR & PHI, but not sure why the Leafs would want Subban at all. He's a terrible fit, and just terrible overall.

I have to disagree with you. if they can't get a RH Dman prospect in any other trade I would go for this. Knies looks like a player and the #1 is good. Pretty much all of the trading partners would be late 1st round picks regardless.. Forget the 27 year old Russian throw someone else in there.
