You don't want Houdini Perlini.

Why not? He’d be a cheap league minimum contract for free. Depth is never a bad thing. It’d be a zero risk move.

The worst that happens is that he doesn’t work out and gets waived again/sent to the minors. A zero risk move.

He only gets chance after chance because he's a former first round draft pick. No one keeps him.

So does Teemu Pulkkinen. He's playing in the KHL.

No thanks. Dude couldn't stay a regular in Edmonton's forward group and their bottom 6 is a disaster.

What does that have to do with anything? A lot of trades happen because players don’t currently fit in where they currently are lol. Why would anyone be against picking up a zero risk and free player? Lol

Here is 1 reason. We had 47 contracts and are signing a CHL free agent bringing us to 48. Adding a replacement level player liker Perlini would have brought them to 49. That limits their ability to make trades moving forward or sign any other college free agents.

Yeah that news broke of them signing Frasca a couple hours ago. That’s pretty silly to use that as a reason from something posted yesterday 😂. Teams with 49 contracts can’t trade players. Gotcha 👍

Well I said 1 reason. The main reason is the guy just sucks and it doesn't make sense to bring in a bum.

Weird…wonder why they’d sign Fedun and Chaput then lol. I mean the guy was a solid 3rd liner like 2-3 years ago and is only what? 25 or 26?
