So Edmonton has $6,319,538 to sign 8 players and Brock Boeser alone eats all that up. So how do you propose that Edmonton can afford Boeser without moving our more expensive contracts?

What do you think he's going to be?

I'm concerned he has been injured every season and seems to have lost a step already and he's only 25. He hasnt improved since his rookie yr. I think giving him a 7 yr deal comes with so much risk, especially at the numbers being discussed. Add into it what PA and JR have said about getting faster, moving salary it makes sense to get some picks and a blue chip cost controlled fwd. And improve the team in other ways.

He is quite replaceable I feel.

I might hope for something a little better don't get me wrong but I'd be ok with this.
