This trade is so insanely lopsided for TML. Both of those players from TML are cap dumps. Fleury just won the Vezina. C'mon now

This trade makes no sense. Fleury is worth a first by himself and Murphy is a very reliable top 4 defenseman and leader on a team-friendly extension so he could also get at least a first. Also, the Hawks are rebuilding and they want young players and picks in return.

The Hawks got Fleury for nothing and there's no way he's signing in Chicago. Murphy may sign but again he's a free agent at the end of this year. The Hawks get a goalie with 2 years left and a Dman with 1 more year and a 3rd round pick.

None of what you wrote has convinced me that this is a fair trade.
Fleury is the most recent Vezina winner. He was traded last time for cap purposes. He has plenty of value.
Murphy is also no slouch. He is a big upgrade over Holl in this case.
Mrazek has been pretty bad and he is carrying a significant cap hit for two years after this. So his value is very low.
Holl has been bad this year.
A 3rd round pick is no where near the value needed to make it even. Why would Chicago strap themselves with two worse players (with term) only for a 3rd round pick?
