Edmonton better hope Keith doesnt retire, Keith contract would fall under the recapture penalty, not sure how much the Blackhawks would get dinged with, and how much the oilers would.

Pretty sure oilers actually get a positive cap bonus from Keith retiring not exactly sure how much but hawks get penalized. I suspect this is why there was no retention on the trade.

Agreed Kane will get more as a UFA, 2 years is probably accurate term wise, but dollar wise i bet he gets at least 4 mill per.

Hopefully Yamo is traded at the 2022 deadline for a significant piece.
