Oilers got a 3rd to move down 2 spots and 22 is supposed to be a way better draft then 21, your gonna have to give up more if u wanna move up 7 spots

Probably going to cost a 2nd tbh. Plus you aren't even offering picks in the same draft. It's a 2nd in the same draft to move up 7 spots

true, i only threw out the fifth because the leafs did something similar in the Amirov draft where they moved a 7th to boston for the draft after for a 7th that day

That's completely different. That's the Leafs saying that they didn't love anybody else left on the board and Boston still wanted someone. This is just trying to move late picks the next draft to move up 25% of the first round

Given Dubas history it makes way more sense to go the other way. Trading down for more picks. Dubas has a history of making solid selections in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

More picks means more assets for cap dumps etc.
