Description

When Muzzin comes back this Dcorp is insane. They get 2 rentals and one long term player. It is a lot to give up but I think this would be interesting to do!
Double retention can happen on Gio with a 3rd team to make cap work fully if Muzzin comes back early.

How do you know Muzzin is coming back? Are you saying he's pulling a Kucherov and will return in the playoffs?

We have zero idea when he is coming back. The Leafs team is hopeful he comes back though. The D corp is great without him but if he comes back, the dcorp is superpowered.

Muzzin has been Leafs worse Dman the season, Leafs would hardly be supercharged with this return. Jarnkrok isn't needed. And really is Larsson a big improvement over anyone on the Leafs? So really you're just trading for nice rental improvement in Gio.

Muzzin has not been our worst dman... He hasn't been his normal self though. Muzzin on the 3rd pairing would be nuts. I traded for Jarnkrok here because Kerfoot went the other way to make the cap work for Larsson + Gio. Jarnkrok is to replace the depth from Kerfoot. Of course Kerfoot is better but Jarnkrok is a nice substitute. Larsson would be better than Holl, Lily and Lyubuskin on the right side. So yes he is an upgrade...
