We need someone with grit and offensive skill to play on the 2nd line. A big issue for that line is that Tavares is forced to dig for the puck in the corners when he should really be in the slot and around the net.

Its not as much the hits as much as digging for the puck in the corners.

Trading Matt Roy for someone other than a #1 LD isn't addressing OUR needs. Although we might do without him if William Nylander were coming back the other way.
