Vejmelka is untouchable for the yotes. That wont get him or his left toe.

ARI declines that easily. Smith is an AHL goalie.

I think NJ and EDM both decline that trade. NJ because it's not the return they're after as they want futures, and EDM because it honestly doesn't make them any better.

Smith aint even that anymore. He needs to retire hes done

Still cant believe Holland went with him over

Reimer, Anderson, Bernier, Holtby, Mrazek, Ullmark etc.

Heck could have traded Smith's rights and a 3rd to Carolina for Ned as Carolina had no plans to sign Bernier and did the trade mainly for the pick. Holland could have done something similar but went nah. Heck could have got MAF for free lul

Not necessarily for Vejmelka but the Oilers gotta move Smith and it's fitting he goes back to Zona

It's not that bad I think, I just don't see them getting too many offers. Barrie and Bouchard both can't work in Edmonton, I'm sure or hopeful some team would take him. Just hoping they'll be able to claim Sustr because a trade for Barrie would be more likely

It's not that bad value wise, imo the target is just wrong.

Come the offseason, I'd look at trading Barrie for Hoffman 1-on-1 or something. Both of them are all out offense players, but Habs need a RHD more than EDM does and EDM needs a winger more than Habs do.

Just messing around haha at this point I'd be happy if Holland even made a waiver claim lol

Well can say it doesn’t look like Holland is willing to trade draft picks to make the team worse. Barrie for subban might help the cap situation in offseason but right now cmon can’t seriously think that’s going to solve anything. What’s the point of Arizona trade? Kosk and skinner are the current tandem neither of them have been part of the problem.
