Not sure why the pens are trading there 2023 1st instead of the 2022 1st. Either way I think the pens decline.

Pettersson doesn’t make sense for the Canucks, we are set at LD. It would have to be Marino coming back to Vancouver

If I'm the Penguins, Marino is off the table. Sullivan likes to play a natural LHD and RHD pair. After Letang we only have Marino as a right hand top 4 defensemen. Chad Ruhwedal is a solid 3rd pair guy but he is not Marino and Luke Schenn is not Marino. Rutherford likes Kapanen and Petterson. The 1st round pick isn't going to be a game changing player. I'd even throw in any prospect in our system. We have to maximize the time we have with Crosby, Malkin, Letang.
